In true InspirACTION style I team up with social media friends Gabe Strom, Meghann Conter, Mike Baltus, and Cory Johnson. But lets not forget about my incredible teammate Joe Amorosa from graduate school!
It was the first time a lot of us had met, and we decided it was absolutely time to take on the Jack-n-Grill Seven Pound Burrito Challenge. We admittedly split into teams of two, but gosh was three and a half pounds of mostly potatoes, eggs, ham and cheese still heavy!
Here is the inspiration for this challenge from Man vs Food
The Denver-ites present were pleased to welcome Gabe Strom from Social Media Altitude – someone who has taught each of us oodles about social media and even enabled me to begin this awesome InspirACTION journey through FreeBlogFactory by putting my blog together for… well, free! I’m not the tech savvy type but Gabe and the rest of the guys from SMA have dramatically transformed my view on social media and given me some great training.
It was an honor to have Gabe, but it was even greater to challenge him to this incredible Burrito Eat Off! Russell, wish you could have been here buddy! What a seriously fun and energetic group of people to have in one place! This is the true power of social media – total connectivity.
This is Part One of Two in our InspirACTION journey of firsts for the day. I’ll be posting Part Two tomorrow evening just below! Word on the street is super high powered Go Carts!
