Follow Friday is where you pick your top five friends or follows from Twitter and share them with your entire network. You can choose people on whatever criteria you’d like and encourage your followers to connect with them because you find a lot of value in what that person creates. That’s the basis of it. You can see who everyone else on Twitter chooses for Follow Friday by searching out the hashtag #FF on Twitter.
My friend Helen Raptoplous inspired me to do Follow Friday this week when she featured me in her weekly Follow Friday post. Here are my five picks for Follow Friday!
Follow @HelenRaptoplous (Helen Raptoplous)
and her blog at http://www.helenraptoplous.com Helen is on one heck of a mission! She recently published her 100th blog post on her site and that just gets me jazzed! You can find a daily post from here on practically anything network marketing from YouTube tips to social media insights. Keep it up Helen!
Follow @Excalibur_biz (Craig Bivins)
Craig’s new blog is currently under construction and when it comes out you’re not going to be able to get enough. He’s determined to become a millionaire by the age of 30, and I’ve got to admit I believe he’s going to do it. If you’re looking for a laugh, inspiration, or someone that can connect you with the right people – he’s your guy!
Follow @JusticeWordlaw (Justice Wordlaw)
and his blog at http://JusticeWorldlaw.com Justice is what I like to call a marketing magician. From traditional to digital marketing, Justice knows all the right tools to help small and medium-sized businesses stretch their marketing budgets to every last penny. I admire Justice because he’s the easiest person to reach online. Send the man a message, you’ll get a reply in minutes. He’s always willing to lend a hand!
Follow @mqtodd (Michael Q Todd)
Michael is everything love, environment, and social media all wrapped up into one amazing package. Like Justice, he’s on the top of his game being very easy to reach. He’s built some impressive lists on Twitter which are worth looking at and has unique insight on how Twitter is growing and changing. Michael is just a great person to know whether it’s business or personal.
Follow @GaryVee (Gary Vaynerchuck)
and his blog at http://winelibrary.tv or http://vaynermedia.com
Of course, I had to include my social media hero, Gary Vaynerchuck. Gary is the author of CRUSH IT!, which is a major part of my inspiration to grow and continue with InspirACTION. He made a splash in the wine industry doing videos that captured audiences with his raw and charismatic nature. Gary helps me keep a pulse on what’s going on and changing in social media today. Definitely a MUST follow!
