Much of what Steve is speaking to here is a long standing spiritual teaching that some refer to as the law of mind-action.
Everything that is created in our physical realm, began in the realm of thought. Every action we take at any time begins in our mind. So mindset is everything. With awareness of this teaching, Steve's message is easier to understand. His message is a bit wordy, but the underlying message is there. Change your mind and change your life.

When you are speaking to the concepts of someone thinking that $50k is unreachable, they are experiencing what is called “limiting thought”. Their thoughts are putting real limitations on what they can accomplish. This is not to say that limitations are good or bad, they are just limits. When we awaken to the awareness of mind-action, we see very clearly how our past thoughts have led us to where we are today. If we continue with the same thoughts, we will only see the same results. Changing our thoughts, changes the outcome. It really does not get any simpler than that. By implementing the practices you mention, such as carrying more money to get “comfortable” with having it, you are retraining your thoughts. Setting a higher limit so to speak. What if we can practice being limitless? The movie and the book “The Secret” was really speaking to the change in mind, not some magical manifestation that occurs through casual play-acting.

Tribal thought is stuck in a Have-Do-Be paradigm. If I have the zillion dollars, I can do what I want to do and I will be happy. Enlightened thought is the opposite:” Be-Do-Have.
If I be what I am to be (happy, pleaceful. etc) I will do what is to be done, and from that I will have all the abundance I need.
You can see mind-action at work here. Change your thoughts to be. All actions begin with thought, actions = do. The end result is to have what you desired, or something GREATER!

Keep your eyes in the direction of the goal, but not so fixated that you miss better options and opportunities. My mantra is “This or something better God, this or something better.”

Steve also eludes a bit to mind action when he talks about point A being now and point B being your goal. What he says is much likae a quote from a personal friend: “The only thing that stands between you and your goals are the thoughts you have between now and then.”

Re-mind your self you are limitless. When limiting thoughts arise, and they will, gently let them pass without criticism, but immediately re-mind yourself of your limitless truth. Re-Mind=Think Again.

Every change we wish to see in the world must first begin within ourselves, then we express it to the world in the way we are. Then we inspire others into action. You my friend are an amazing inspiration to others and I am blessed to know of you. Know that your inspiration has already touched hundred if not thousands, and they in-turn will inspire others. Your reach is tremendous and your presence is rewarding the world.
